Is this an original painting, or a print/reproduction?

Every work listed is a unique, one-of-a-kind original painting on canvas. No prints, no editions, no reproductions. When you purchase, you own the only one that exists.

Does the painting come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes. Every original work ships with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity from Ke Chen, documenting the title, medium, dimensions, and date of completion.

How do I know the painting won't be reproduced or resold?

As the artist, Ke retains copyright but the physical work is yours exclusively. Ke does not produce prints or reproductions of sold works.

Where do you ship to?

Worldwide — China, United States, Europe, and beyond. We ship via SF Express, UPS, or DHL depending on destination.

How is the painting packaged?

Each painting is wrapped in acid-free tissue, padded with foam, secured in a double-walled custom crate. Oversized works receive a custom wooden crate. The packaging is designed to survive international transit.

How long does shipping take?

1–2 business days to prepare and ship. Delivery typically takes 5–10 business days internationally, depending on customs. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as the work is dispatched.

What are the shipping costs?

Free shipping to China. Free international shipping on orders over $800 USD. For orders under $800 USD, a flat $50 shipping fee applies.

Will I owe customs duties or import taxes?

Depending on your country, customs fees may apply. For most personal imports of original artwork under a certain value, fees are minimal — the EU, for example, has a 0% import duty rate on original paintings (HS code 9701). We'll provide all necessary export documentation to make customs clearance as smooth as possible.

What currencies do you accept?

Prices are listed in EUR. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods through our secure checkout.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. We never see or store your card information.

Can I pay in installments?

For works over €3,000, we're open to discussing a payment plan. Reach out via the inquiry form on any product page and Ke will respond personally.

What if the painting arrives damaged?

In the extremely rare event of damage in transit, document it with photos immediately upon opening and contact us within 48 hours. We'll work with you to resolve it — either a full replacement (if a comparable work is available) or a full refund.

Can I return the painting if I change my mind?

Original artworks are sold as final sale, as they are unique one-of-a-kind objects. However, if you have concerns before purchasing, Ke is happy to provide additional photos, video walkthroughs, or answer any questions — reach out before you buy.

What condition are the paintings in?

All works are in excellent, museum-quality condition. Ke ships works directly from the studio — no intermediary handling. Condition notes are included in the certificate of authenticity.

Can I commission a custom painting?

Yes. Start with the Custom Artwork Consultation (€200) — this covers a direct conversation with Ke about your vision, scale, palette, and timeline. The consultation fee applies toward the final commission price if you proceed.

How long does a commission take?

Typically 4–12 weeks depending on scale and complexity. Timeline is agreed upon at the consultation stage.

Can I see works in progress?

Yes — for commissions, Ke shares progress photos at key stages so you can follow the work from sketch to finished canvas.
